The history of the Gorodok Urban Territorial Community goes back centuries. The first mention of Gorodok was in 1213 in the Galician-Volyn Chronicle. The then community of a well-fortified city of the Galician Principality could conduct its own policy towards the prince and take an active part in state life. Therefore, you can see many historical monuments here.

In addition, the community has a well-developed economy. There is a garden center that grows ornamental and coniferous trees and plants. Powerful enterprises for the production of apple pectin, concentrated juices, haberdashery and road products made of leather, concrete products, paving stones, and polymer products make Gorodok interesting for business partners.
