Murovana Territorial Community has a long history. Murovana is mentioned in archival documents as Liashky. The first reference to the settlement dates back to 1454. Initially, the village belonged to the Crown Lands (Korolivshchyna), and its first owner was the Lviv Voivode Ondrovonzh; later, the owners changed. In 1946, the village of Liashky-Murovani was renamed Murovane.
The Murovana Territorial Community was established in December 2017 as a result of the merger of three village councils (silski rady): Soroky-Lvivski Village Council, Yampil Village Council, and Hamaliivka Village Council.
